Four Students Involved in a DUI Collision along Centerville Road, Two Injured

FERNDALE, CA (June 23, 2022) – Friday morning, 4 students were involved in a DUI crash on Centerville road resulting in two injuries.

Sgt. Gabe Parker stated that they received a report on June 17th at 2:20 a.m. of a vehicle that overturned on the roadway.

As a result, one person was unconscious, and one suffering from moderate injuries. Paramedics arrived and transported both victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police added that the four occupants of the vehicle were all 16 to 17 years old. Following preliminary duties, officers determined that alcohol was a factor in the collision.

Furthermore, crews closed a portion of the roadway to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation into the crash along Centerville Road is currently underway.
