Macee Myers Arrested after DUI Accident on Sonora Street [Stockton, CA]

Traffic Accident on Center Street Left One Officer Injured

STOCKTON, CA (June 21, 2022) – Officers arrested 28-year-old Macee Myers after a DUI accident on Sonora Street early Saturday morning.

Police responded to the scene around 2:00 a.m., near Center Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were preforming a DUI traffic stop and investigation in the area. Throughout the investigation, Myers attempted to flee the scene, dragging a CHP officer with her vehicle in the process.

Eventually, Myers stopped the vehicle and continued to resist arrest, forcing the authorities to use force to take her into custody.

Meanwhile, the CHP officer dragged by the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized shortly after.

In the end, authorities booked her into San Joaquin County Jail for suspicion of obstructing or resisting a public officer, assault with a deadly weapon, and felony DUI. Myers is being held on a $405,000 bail.
