Several Injured Following Traffic Accident on Amethyst Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 9, 2022) – On Friday, authorities airlifted one person after a two-vehicle crash on La Mesa Road.
The accident took place at the intersection of La Mesa Road and Amethyst Road around 3:00 p.m. on June 3rd.
Furthermore, according to the reports, a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer crashed into one of Victorville’s Fire Medic Squad trucks for unknown reasons.
Responding firefighters and emergency crews rescued one person trapped inside the wreck. The collision also left one Victorville City firefighter and two other occupants of the Chevy injured.
Moreover, paramedics transported the three injured parties to Desert Valley Hospital for further treatment, while the trapped person was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
At this time, authorities are unsure as to what caused the crash, however, an active investigation is underway.
