One Hospitalized after Vehicle Crash near Camino Del Rio
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 24, 2022) – One victim suffered injuries early Thursday morning, in a pedestrian accident on Hancock Street.
The incident took place around 2:00 a.m., at the intersection of Hancock Street and Camino Del Rio.
According to reports, a 69-year-old man was driving a southbound Ford F150 on Camino Del Rio. There, he struck the pedestrian as he approached the intersection on a green light.
At the time, the pedestrian was walking westbound in the middle of the intersection. The pedestrian suffered a fractured pelvis as a result of the collision. Medics then arrived and rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, no other injuries were reported. Authorities ruled out the use of alcohol or drugs as factors in the accident, but an investigation is still ongoing.
