Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Sullivan Underpass
FREMONT, CA (June 10, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, one victim was pronounced dead after a pedestrian crash on Mission Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 12:15 a.m., near the Sullivan Underpass. Reports indicate that a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the area.
Upon impact, the driver pulled over to help the victim until emergency crews arrived. The driver also stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
Medics responded and performed life-saving measures at the scene. However, the victim succumbed to their injuries shortly after.
Crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
