61-Year-Old Woman Dead after Auto Collision on Florin Perkins Road

SACRAMENTO, CA (May 26, 2022) – Sunday morning, Marilyn Pillos was killed, and two others were injured in a car crash on Elder Creek Road.

The incident occurred around 6:42 a.m., near Florin Perkins Road. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, reports indicate that the collision involved a sedan and an SUV.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and located Pillos with major injures. Due to the extent of her condition, crews later pronounced her dead at the scene.

Officers closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation into the crash is still currently underway.
