Police Search for Vincent Galvin after Deadly Collision on Monte Vista Avenue
MONTCLAIR, CA (May 25, 2022) – Tuesday, police arrested Oswaldo Gutierrez and another person, after a fatal crash on Mission Boulevard.
The incident took place around 7:00 a.m., near the intersection of Monte Vista Avenue and Mission Boulevard.
Police say the driver of a Chevrolet pickup-truck ran a red light at the intersection at struck an SUV. Medics arrived and transported the SUV driver to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, Gutierrez and another 16-year-old suspect were arrested after trying to flee from the scene. In addition, police continue their search for 20-year-old Vincent Galvin.
Officers eventually charged Gutierrez with felony hit and run; DUI; gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated; possession for sale of a controlled substance, and transportation for sale of a controlled substance.
The 16-year-old faces a count of willfully resisting or obstructing a police officer; possession for sale of a controlled substance, and transportation for sale of a controlled substance.
