Elderly Woman Killed in Vehicle Crash on Turner Drive [Tulare, CA]
81-Year-Old Woman Dies in Traffic Collision on Commercial Avenue
TULARE, CA (May 18, 2022) – A vehicle crash on Turner Drive claimed the life of an 81-year-old woman Saturday morning.
According to the police, the crash happened just after 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Turner Drive and Commercial Avenue.
Investigators say that an elderly woman ran a stop sign at the intersection.
As a result, another vehicle that had the right of way struck her while traveling on Turner Drive.
Subsequently, the second vehicle spun around and struck a third vehicle.
The first responders reached the elderly woman pinned inside of the vehicle and found her unresponsive. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The identity of the deceased victim remains unavailable, pending notification from the next of kin. No other injuries were reported; however, an active investigation is currently underway.
