Victims Identified after Fatal Collision near High School Road
FRESNO, CA (May 12, 2022) – Monday night, a collision along Road 426 claimed the lives of 18-year-old Jeramy Wayne Smith and Danika Lee Ibbotson.
According to the report, the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Road 426 near High School Road.
Smith was driving a BMW with a 18-year-old passenger when the collided with a Honda Civic for reasons unknown. Both individuals in the BMW were ejected from the vehicle as a result of the impact.
Furthermore, paramedics arrived to the scene and pronounced 18-year-old Smith dead at the scene along with his girlfriend Danika Lee Ibbotson.
Responders transported the other three injured victims to local hospitals.
Meanwhile two Oakhurst men, ages 23 and 25 occupying the Honda, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
No other information regarding the collision has been made available to the public at this time. Fresno Officials continue to investigate the fatal crash along Road 426.
