David Klingenfuss Fatally Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Briggsmore Avenue [Modesto, CA]
Man Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Roselle Avenue
MODESTO, CA (May 11, 2022) – 30-year-old David Klingenfuss lost his life early Thursday morning, in a pedestrian crash on Briggsmore Avenue.
The accident happened around 3:30 a.m., on May 5th just west of Roselle Avenue. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced Klingenfuss dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver stayed and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was reported at this time and it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
Furthermore, crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during clearing and preliminary operations. At this time, an active investigation is currently underway at this moment.
