37-Year-Old Man Dies in Bicycle Accident on Sand Canyon Road
SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 3, 2022) – John Hermoso was killed in a bicycle crash on Sand Canyon Road, Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 1:22 p.m., at 21521 Sand Canyon Road.
Per reports, Hermoso was riding a bicycle around a blind curve while a BMW was traveling in the opposite direction. There, the BMW and the bicyclist collided head-on.
The impact threw Hermoso off his bike and onto the roadway. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, first responders pronounced Hermoso dead at the scene.
At this time, Santa Clarita Officials continue to investigate the deadly collision.
