13-Year-Old Bicyclist Dead after Hit-and-Run Accident near Estrella Parkway
GOODYEAR, AZ (April 29, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a hit-and-run on Elliot Road left Dylan Buensuceso dead, and Richard Romo in custody.
The accident happened in a neighborhood near Elliot Road and Estrella Parkway just before 3:00 p.m.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a white Ford pickup-truck struck Buensuceso and fled the scene.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, Buensuceso later succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
Police say 44-year-old Romo was taken to Goodyear Police Department for questioning. He now faces two charges related to failing to stay at the scene of the crash.
At this time, an active investigation into the deadly collision is still currently ongoing.
