Leobardo Estrada Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Arrow Highway [San Dimas, CA]

Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Accident on 57 Freeway

SAN DIMAS, CA (April 28, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Leobardo Estrada died in a motorcycle crash on Arrow Highway.

The incident happened around 12:36 a.m., on Orange (57) Freeway and Arrow Highway. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

For reasons unknown, Estrada lost control of his motorcycle and sideswiped the divider wall. As a result, Estrada was thrown off his motorcycle onto the road, landing in the northbound no. 1 lane.

Upon impact, Estrada suffered life-threatening injuries to his head and chest. Eventually, the victim was pronounced dead due to the extent of his condition.

Meanwhile, authorities are yet to determine if alcohol or drugs played a factor.

After the incident, California Highway Patrol officers had to shut down the No. 1 northbound lane. The freeway reopened sometime before 3:00 a.m.
