31-Year-Old Man Dies in Traffic Accident on La Mesa Exit

VICTORVILLE, CA (April 27, 2022) – A rollover crash on Interstate 15 claimed the life of 31-year-old Anthony Robert Rodriguez, police said.

According to the report, authorities received calls of a rollover crash on Interstate 15.

Upon arrival, they located a silver Ford Ranger which landed on its side near the center divider of the northbound I-15, before the La Mesa/Nisqualli Road exit.

In addition, they discovered the driver was ejected from the vehicle.

Emergency crews requested a medical helicopter to transport the man to a local trauma hospital. However, authorities pronounced him dead less than an hour later at Desert Valley Hospital.

Authorities were able to identify the fatal victim as 31-year-old Rodriguez of Apple Valley.

Victorville Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the rollover crash.
