Several Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Fowler Avenue
FOWLER, CA (April 19, 2022) – A crash on Lincoln Avenue claimed the life of Kevin Serrano and left seven others injured, Friday morning.
According to authorities, the crash happened just after 6:30 a.m., at the intersection of East Lincoln and South Fowler Avenue.
Furthermore, officials claimed the driver of a van was heading east on Lincoln Avenue and ran through a posted stop sign directly into the path of an SUV. As a result, the SUV struck the van with eight occupants.
Upon impact, the van rolled over and ejected 18-year-old Serrano of Mendota onto the roadway.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Serrano dead at the scene. Meanwhile, seven other van occupants sustained moderate injuries and were hospitalized.
In addition, the SUV driver also suffered from moderate injuries and required hospitalization as well.
At this time, Fowler Officials continue to investigate the fatal two-vehicle collision along Lincoln and Fowler Avenues.
