28-Year-Old Woman Killed in Vehicle Crash on 14 Freeway
PALMDALE, CA (April 18, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, Pauline Gonzalez died, and Osvaldo Garcia was arrested after a crash on 14 Freeway.
The fatal collision was reported along the 14 Freeway around 2:13 a.m., on April 9.
For reasons under investigations, Gonzalez collided with a Honda sedan while driving her 1996 Buick sedan.
The collision then caused her Buick to stall in the No. 4 lane. Shortly after, a passing 2006 Ford F-150 crashed into the Buick sedan in the No. 4 lane.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding medics pronounced 28-year-old Gonzalez dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Ford driver, 23-year-old Garcia, of Palmdale did not sustain any injuries. However, authorities arrested him on suspicion of DUI.
At this time, Palmdale police are conducting an active investigation and will release updates once available. California Highway Patrol officers urge anyone with information to reach Officer Steadman at the Antelope Valley CHP Office at 661-948-8541.
