1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash on Drivers Flat Road
AUBURN, CA (April 8, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, Robin Williams was hurt and a motorcyclist was killed in a head-on crash on Foresthill Road.
The deadly crash took place near Drivers Flat Road around 3:30 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
According to reports, the driver of a Hyundai Sonata was heading west on Foresthill Road and crossed the double yellow lines into the eastbound lane. As a result, the Honda collided head-on with a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced the 45-year-old male motorcyclist from Foresthill, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics rushed Robin Williams to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with minor injuries.
At this time, police have no further information about the deadly accident. However, an active investigation is underway. Auburn Police will release updates once they become available.
