Traffic Accident near Clover Flat Road Left 2 Injured
CALISTOGA, CA (March 25, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a head-on collision on Silverado Trail left Javier Torres and Erik Kiser hospitalized.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:55 a.m. on the Silverado Trail near Clover Flat Road.
Furthermore, the paramedics transported 22-year-old Torres of Sonoma to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for major injuries.
Meanwhile, another AMR ambulance took the other driver, identified as 59-year-old Kiser of Napa to the same hospital for moderate injuries.
The investigators said that Torres was driving southbound on Silverado Trail in a 2006 Toyota Corolla when he crossed the center divider for reasons unknown.
As a result, the Corolla collided head-on with a northbound 2018 Jeep Cherokee SUV driven by Kiser.
Calistoga Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash.
