Vehicle Crash on Patterson Road Left Two Fatalities

OAKDALE, CA (March 15, 2022) – A vehicle collision on Bentley Road claimed the lives of Ruth Rancano and Kellie Content Saturday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:25 p.m. at Patterson and Bentley Roads.

Furthermore, reports claimed that a northbound 2007 Honda on Bentley approached Patterson Road when it failed to stop at a posted stop sign.

Eventually, it entered into the path of a 2018 Chevrolet going westbound on Patterson approaching the intersection.

The front of the Honda collided with the right side of the Chevrolet sending the vehicles northeast, out of control.

Subsequently, both cars hit the front of a Volkswagen, causing it to overturn as all three vehicles came to a stop off the roadway.

Unfortunately, the Honda driver identified as Rancano and the Volkswagen driver ID’d as Content died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 45-year-old Chevrolet driver, Eliseo Zapien, and the Volkswagen passenger, 31-year-old Natalie Camacho were transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

Oakdale Officials continue to investigate the fatal crash.
