Elderly Woman Hurt in Pursuit Collision on Valley Boulevard
ALHAMBRA, CA (March 16, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a 90-year old woman was hospitalized after a pursuit accident on 710 Freeway.
Authorities said the chase started around 4:17 p.m., when the driver of a stolen vehicle fled police.
The pursuit came to an end after the suspect’s vehicle crashed into several other cars. The driver turned onto the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, rear-ended a Prius and came to a stop on the freeway.
Paramedics arrived and transported the suspect and the 90-year-old woman to a hospital in unknown condition.
Additionally, the third lane of the northbound Long Beach Freeway was closed for an unknown duration following the crash.
