25-Year-Old Dies in Vehicle Accident on Box Spring Road
MORENO VALLEY, CA (March 14, 2022) – A solo-vehicle accident on Box Spring Road claimed the life of Jose Velasco Wednesday morning.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 8:07 p.m. at Box Spring Road.
Furthermore, officers claimed that a Nissan Sentra driving at a high rate of speed suddenly lost control of their vehicle.
Consequently, the car hit a curb and eventually came to a stop after colliding with a nearby tree.
On Thursday, authorities identified the victim as 25-year-old Velasco of Moreno Valley.
Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
