David Ayala, Jose Frias Dead after Solo-Car Crash on 710 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

Two Killed in Single-Vehicle Collision on Valley Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 8, 2022) – Early Friday morning, David Ayala and Jose Frias were killed in a solo-car crash on 710 Freeway.

The fatal accident occurred around 12:45 a.m., on Valley Boulevard, just off the 710 Freeway.

As per reports, a 2004 GMC Yukon carrying three people exited the northbound 710 off-ramp onto Valley Boulevard. There, the driver lost control and slammed into the wall of a recycling center.

Upon impact, both the driver and one of the passengers suffered fatal injuries. Authorities later identified the deceased victims as 20-year-old Ayala, and 25-year-old Frias.

Meanwhile, medics transported a third person to LAC+USC Medical Center with major injuries.

At this time, police also suspected that speed could be a factor in collision. However, further circumstances remain under active investigation.
