Pedestrian Crash on Las Vegas Boulevard Left One Hurt

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 9, 2022) – A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after an accident on Las Vegas Boulevard, Tuesday evening.

At around 4:53 p.m., police responded to a collision on the 3900 block of Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2015 Ford Escape hit a pedestrian walking in a crosswalk against the “Don’t Walk” sign.

Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a Trauma Center for further treatment of serious injuries.

Consequently, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Following preliminary investigations, impairment was ruled out as a factor in the strike. Although, an active investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
