Tyler Lenander, Aiden Beell Hurt in Rollover Collision on State Route 903 [Cle Elum, WA]

2 Hospitalized after Solo-Car Rollover Accident near State Route 970

CLE ELUM, WA (February 25, 2022) – Saturday morning, Tyler Lenander and Aiden Beell were hurt in a rollover collision on State Route 903.

Just after 5:00 a.m., the driver of a southbound 1997 Mercury Mountaineer rolled over his vehicle while trying to turn right onto State Route 970.

The SUV was driven by 27-year-old Lenander, of Ellensburg. Crews later identified his passenger as 19-year-old Beell, of Chehalis. Paramedics transported Lenander and Beell to HMC hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.

Another passenger, 20-year-old Jordan Welke, did not sustain injuries. For reasons unknown, one more female passenger fled the scene.

Officers later charged Lenander with second degree reckless driving. However, crews ruled out alcohol or drugs as potential factors in the collision.

At this time, further circumstances surrounding the crash remain underway.
