Man Pronounced Dead after DUI Driver Slams into Uber on McKellips Road
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (February 17, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, 41-year-old Ross Farnsworth was killed in a t-bone accident on Miller Road.
The collision happened around 3:30 a.m., near the intersection of McKellips and Miller Road.
According to the victim’s brother, Ashton, Farnsworth booked an Uber to take him home from a concert at the WM Phoenix Open. For DUI related reasons, another driver t-boned his vehicle.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Farnsworth dead at the scene.
Following preliminary investigations, crews determined that the driver who hit Farnsworth was impaired at the time.
