Driver Arrested after Speeding Crash on Bayshore Boulevard [Brisbane, CA]
Several Injured after Driver Runs Red Light on Bayshore Boulevard
BRISBANE, CA (February 16, 2022) – Police arrested one driver following a crash on Bayshore Boulevard, Wednesday afternoon.
According to the report, an officer was monitoring traffic around 3:35 p.m., on the 3200 block of Bayshore Boulevard.
There, police noticed a vehicle traveling at a “high rate of speed”. Before officers pursued the suspect, the driver ran a red light and broadsided a vehicle that was making a left turn onto Guadalupe Canyon Parkway.
Eventually, first responders arrived and transported the driver of the broadsided vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. Meanwhile, the occupants inside the speeding vehicle sustained minor injuries.
In addition, authorities arrested and booked the driver in San Mateo County Jail for reckless driving and child endangerment.
Brisbane Officials are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the police at 415-508-2174.
