Man Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision on Shaw Avenue [Fresno, CA]
60-Year-Old Driver Killed in Three-Car Rollover Crash on Bishop Avenue
FRESNO, CA (January 25, 2022) – Friday night, a 60-year-old male driver was killed in a three-vehicle collision on Shaw Avenue.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 8:00 p.m., near Shaw and Bishop Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
The driver of a red Camaro was heading east on Shaw and attempted to turn left onto Bishop. There, the Camaro collided with a grey Honda Accord that heading west on Shaw Avenue.
Upon impact, the Camaro spun out and overturned before colliding with a Cadillac behind the Accord.
Due to the extent of their condition, the Camaro driver succumbed to his injuries from the crash. Authorities only described him as a man in his 60’s.
Officials have no further information about the condition of the other drivers.
At this time, officials said that the foggy weather in their area may have contributed to the fatal crash. However, an active investigation is still underway.
