Frontage Road and Seventh Street Traffic Crash Left One Dead

OAKLAND, CA (January 24, 2022) – A deadly traffic crash on Frontage Road claimed the life of Joseph Bennett III Monday morning.

According to the authorities, the crash occurred around 1:50 a.m., when a southbound Explorer rear-ended a trailer stopped in the center divider near Seventh Street.

First responders arrived and declared one driver dead at the scene due to the extent of their injuries. Later on, Oakland Officials identified the deceased victim as Joseph Bennett III.
