74-Year-Old Woman Killed, 2 Injured in Two-Car Collision on Dehesa Road

DEHESA, CA (January 20, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a woman was killed and two were injured in a head-on crash on Sloane Canyon Road.

According to authorities, the collision took place at the intersection of Dehesa and Sloane Canyon Road around 3:30 p.m.

For DUI suspected reasons, a 30-year-old woman driving a 2003 Honda Civic was heading east when she drifted across the double yellow lines. As a result, she eventually collided head-on with a westbound Chrysler Pacifica minivan.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced one 74-year-old woman inside the Chrysler dead at the scene. Although, their name or place of residency has not yet been released.

Meanwhile, medics transported both drivers to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The Honda driver sustained serious injuries, while the 46-year-old female minivan driver sustained minor injuries.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information about the crash on Sloane Canyon Road is still currently underway.
