Hit-and-Run on Miles Avenue Left Motorcyclist Critically Injured
INDIO, CA (January 19, 2022) – A hit-and-run on the Jefferson Street intersection left two people injured Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m., and involved a vehicle and a motorcycle on Jefferson Street and Miles Avenue intersection.
According to the investigators, two vehicles stopped following the collision while another car drove by and struck the motorcyclist.
However, the third motorist, believed to be in a dark gray pickup, fled the scene before the authorities arrived. Authorities stated that the motorcyclist is currently in critical condition while the second person suffered minor injuries.
In the end, Indio Officials closed the area near the intersection to investigate.
