8 Injured in Big-Rig Crash on Interstate 15 [Las Vegas, NV]

Driver Airlifted after Three-Vehicle Collision near Primm

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 14, 2022) – Monday afternoon, eight victims including three children were hurt in a big-rig crash on Interstate 15.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 1:25 p.m., near the California State Line. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a semi-truck rear-ended a Dodge Ram. The impact then caused the Ram to rear-end a Bentley SUV.

The five occupants inside the Dodge Ram, one child and four adults, suffered non life-threatening injuries. However, medics airlifted the driver to a local hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, the adult driver of the Bentley and two children also sustained non-life threatening injuries. Paramedics transported all the injured occupants to UMC hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the semi-truck did not acquire injuries and showed no signs of impairment.

At this time, further details surrounding the collision have not been provided. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
