Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Collision near Four Seasons Boulevard

BEAUMONT, CA (January 4, 2022) – Alejandro Mejia was fatally struck in a motorcycle accident on Potrero Boulevard, Monday afternoon.

Per Beaumont Police Department, the incident happened at the intersection of Potrero and Four Seasons Boulevard around 12:50 p.m.

Yucaipa resident Mejia, 29, was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a pickup-truck. However, further circumstances leading up to the accident remain unclear.

Reports indicate that the involved pickup-truck driver remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities. Police said witnesses had attempted to revive Mejia before first responders arrived.

Despite life-saving-efforts, medics pronounced Mejia dead at the scene. Based on initial investigation, drugs and/or alcohol did not seem to have influenced the crash.

Authorities closed both sides of Potrero Boulevard between Seneca Springs Boulevard and Highland Springs Avenue during the investigation.
