Collision Between Car and Box Truck on Road 112 near Avenue 164 Left One Fatality

TULARE COUNTY, CA (December 23, 2021) – A vehicle crash on Road 112 claimed the life of a driver Thursday morning.

The collision occurred around 3:30 a.m. near Avenue 164, south of Tulare.

According to the CHP, a Toyota sedan speeding along the southbound lanes of Road 112 rear-ended a box truck.

Eventually, paramedics took the 26-year-old driver to Kaweah Health Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the box truck suffered from minor injuries.

Tulare County Officials continue to investigate the Road 112 crash.
