SAN DIEGO, CA (November 29, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian’s death after a train accident near Tecolote Road Station.

Deputies from North Coastal Sheriff’s Station responded to the incident around 9:00 p.m., near Tecolote Road Station.

Upon arrival, authorities located the pedestrian in the restricted area of the railroad tracks. However, the events leading up remain unclear.

Moreover, the area was shutdown for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary investigations. Although, the road has since reopened.
