Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 20 Left One Rider Injured
YUBA CITY, CA (November 18, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash on Highway 20 that left a motorcyclist injured Wednesday evening.
The collision occurred around 5:55 p.m. when a white sedan driver attempted to make an abrupt turn into the AM/PM store at Highway 20.
However, it turned directly into the path of a motorcycle in the next lane.
According to the investigators, the motorcyclist tried to slow down but struck the right side of the sedan.
Subsequently, a minivan hit the motorcyclist and slid into a tree.
Meanwhile, the sedan driver immediately fled the scene before the authorities arrived.
Eventually, medical personnel transported the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital.
The Yuba City hit-and-run remains under investigation.
