Pedestrian Accident on Edison Highway Left One Fatality
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 15, 2021) – One individual died in a pedestrian accident on Edison Highway last Wednesday night.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 6:45 p.m. at 1999 Edison Highway near the Mercado Latino.
As per reports, an unidentified person was hit by a vehicle in the highway, but it is still unclear what led to the crash.
Officers arrived and pronounced the victim dead on the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Following the investigation, police consider drugs and alcohol to be factors in the crash. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
