Multi-Car Collision on I-580 Left Two Dead, Three Hurt

CARSON CITY, NV (November 12, 2021)  – A multi-car collision on I-580 killed two individuals and injured three more last Tuesday.

The fatal seven-car pile-up happened around 1 p.m. along Interstate 580, near the US 50.

According to the Carson City Police Department, the collision involved six vehicles and a big-rig truck.

Moreover, authorities brought three people to the hospital for treatment of various injuries.

Meanwhile, police unfortunately pronounced two people dead at the scene.

Emergency crews shut down the roadway for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since reopened.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal crash on Interstate 580 is still under investigation.
