Rider Killed in Motorcycle Crash on I-5 [Sacramento, CA]
I-5 Motorcycle Crash Claims the Life of One
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 9, 2021) – A motorcycle crash on I-5 claimed the life of a motorcyclist Saturday afternoon.
According to the CHP, the incident occurred when the rider failed to turn right at the interchange to Highway 50 at around 3:30 p.m.
As a result, the motorcyclist collided with a concrete railing while traveling at a high-rate of speed.
Subsequently, the rider fell out of the motorcycle 60-70 feet further before hitting a roadway below the interchange.
Tragically, the rider sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Sacramento Officials are currently withholding the deceased victim’s identity until their next of kin is notified.
Authorities are working to determine the reasons behind the deadly motorcycle crash on I-5.
