Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 8, 2021) – A man tragically died Monday in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

The accident happened around 10:35 p.m. Laurel Canyon Boulevard, north of Strathern Street, on November 1.

According to the CHP, the silver car going north collided with a person who was crossing Laurel Canyon outside of a designated crosswalk.

The driver continued north on Laurel Canyon without stopping to assist the victim.

Responding paramedics brought the unnamed victim to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.

Authorities have yet to issue a description of the car or driver involved. However, an active investigation is still underway.
