PICO RIVERA, CA (November 5, 2021) – Authorities identified 24-year-old Hector Vela as the deceased victim of a car accident on 605 Freeway.
The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of the 605 Freeway, on Sunday. Officers responded to the scene near Rose Hills Road shortly after.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 24-year-old Hector Vela. However, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
Moreover, the surrounding area on 605 Freeway was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.
