15-Year-Old Girl Killed in Hit-and-Run on Alta Street [Grass Valley, NV]

Hit-and-Run on Alta Street Left One Fatality

GRASS VALEY, CA (November 3, 2021)A hit-and-run on Alta Street claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl Saturday morning.

According to California Highway Patrol, the hit and run happened on Alta Street near Dolores Drive around 4:30 a.m.

Furthermore, police said the victim was a female, skateboarding in the area.

A woman driving a 2005 Infiniti G35, Madison Felhaber, struck a 15-year-old skateboarder and fled from the scene. Felhaber was with a friend who witnessed the collision, according to a Facebook post.

Moreover, California Highway Patrol said an 18-year-old Grass Valley woman turned herself in to the Nevada County Jail on the evening of October 30.

Eventually, she was booked for a hit-and-run case resulting in death.
