One Dead after Fatal Multi-Car Collision near Roscoe Boulevard

SUN VALLEY, CA (October 18, 2021)  On Thursday, a person died tragically in a two-vehicle crash on 170 Freeway in Sun Valley.

The collision happened at 5:00 a.m. on October 14, along 170 Freeway near Roscoe Boulevard.

According to the CHP, the events leading up to the crash are still unknown. However, responding officers located one person dead at the scene.

At this moment, authorities have no information on the identity of the deceased victim.

Furthermore, officials closed three lanes in the highway for preliminary investigation and clean up.

Investigators encourage witnesses to cooperate and reach out as soon as possible. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
