SAN YSIDRO, CA (September 30, 2021) – On Saturday, a multi-car crash on Interstate 5 resulted in several injuries and road closures near SR-905..
The five-vehicle collision occurred at 2:00 p.m., September 25, in the area of southbound Interstate 5 near SR-905.
As per reports, a faded red Honda Civic traveling north in a southbound lane collided with a Toyota Tacoma, triggering a five-vehicle crash, though the main cause of the crash is still unknown.
Responding officers discovered a passenger in one of the wrecked vehicles suffering from a broken leg. Other medics stated that at least two other occupants sustained injuries.
However, authorities, at this time, did not specify how many injuries were reported from the crash.
Furthermore, CHP said the area closed for a several minutes for clearing and investigation, but has since reopened.
