CLAIREMONT, CA (September 30, 2021) – Early Friday morning, a man was injured in a scooter crash on Pocahontas Avenue, according to CHP.
The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m., at the 4600 block of Pocahontas Avenue. Emergency crews responded shortly after.
According to the police, a 46-year-old man traveling southbound suddenly swerved and slid into a legally parked vehicle.
Eventually, paramedics transported the man to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The Clairemont officials are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
At this time, the identity of the wounded man remains unavailable.
