Bicycle Crash on Camino Del Rio South Kills 42-Year-Old Matthew Keenan
MISSION VALLEY, CA (September 21, 2021) – Matthew Keenan, 42, tragically died in a bicycle accident on Camino Del Rio last Tuesday night.
The collision took place around 8:50 p.m. along Camino Del Rio South, near Texas Street.
According to reports, Keenan was riding his bike along the roadway when a Nissan Sentra collided with him.
Keenan had suffered serious injuries, emergency crews attempted to preform life-saving measures, but he was declared dead on the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities learned that the Sentra crossed the double yellow lines before crashing into Keenan.
Furthermore, officials closed the roadway for about an hour due to cleanup and investigation.
