55-Year-Old Taft Woman Dead after Motorcycle vs Car Collision near Petroleum Club Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 24, 2025) – Tuesday evening, a motorcycle collision on Cadet Road claimed the life of Kristen Ladon Meckler.
The incident happened around 5:22 p.m., just east of Petroleum Club Road.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of an unidentified vehicle hit a woman riding a motorcycle.
Responding medical personnel declared the female rider dead at the scene. It was unclear if the driver of the second vehicle remained at the site of the crash.
Authorities later identified the deceased motorcyclist as 55-year-old Meckler, of Taft.
Bakersfield Officials will provide more information about the Cadet Road motorcycle crash once the investigation has concluded.
