Suspect Still at Large after Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash near Wellesley Drive Northeast

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (February 18, 2025) – Friday evening, one woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Comanche Road Northeast.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m., near Wellesley Drive Northeast on February 7th.

Troopers arrived at the scene and found a woman lying on Comanche Road with significant injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.

Moreover, the suspect who hit the woman fled the scene, and no information was available on their whereabouts. No other details were added, and the crash remains under active investigation.
