Driver and Passenger Pronounced Dead after Single-Vehicle Crash near Patterson Road

HOUSTON, TX (February 18, 2025) – Early Sunday morning, a man and a woman were killed in a rollover collision on Highway 6.

Houston Police Officers responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m., near Patterson Road on February 9th.

According to troopers, a Toyota RAV4 was heading south at high rate of speed. For reasons under investigation, the driver failed to control the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.

Upon impact, the RAV4 overturned several times and ejected both occupants. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced both occupants from the vehicle dead at the scene.

Moreover, a power outage occurred in the area due to the incident, and CenterPoint Energy crews worked to restore the power.

No other information was made public, and authorities are investigating what led to the crash. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal rollover collision on Highway 6.
