Police Chase Ends in Crash near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Three Women Hurt

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 18, 2025) – Saturday evening, three injured in a suspected DUI collision on Vermont Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene around 7:43 p.m., near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Authorities believed the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the chase.

The pursuit shortly ended after the patrol car collided with the runaway vehicle, leaving three women injured. The injuries of the patients remain unspecified by the police. 

It was unclear whether the three women involved were the suspects or bystanders from the incident.  

The Los Angeles Police Department will release more information about the Vermont Avenue suspected DUI crash once the investigation has concluded.
