Two Drivers Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash near Domenigoni Parkway

MURRIETA, CA (February 18, 2025) – Tuesday morning, two people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on State Route 79 near Winchester. 

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 8:15 a.m., near Domenigoni Parkway. 

According to reports, a northbound Toyota Camry hit the back of a Tesla driven by a 38-year-old woman. 

The impact of the first crash sent the Tesla to a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 23-year-old man. 

Medical responders rushed the 45-year-old Murrieta resident driving the Camry to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. 

Officials also reported that the Tesla driver had suffered minor injuries in the incident. Police reported no injuries among the Jetta’s occupants.
